📚 ðŸĨ‚ Old times

Good talk radio was fun yesterday. The subject was the "old time" TV shows and movies. What a flash back it was . Growing with the Black and white TV, having only 3 channels watch. I grew a farm, and the TV was put in a closet for the summer and brought back out for the fall and winter time. And cable was for building stuff, not for bringing in TV shows. Most of my favorites from the old days was cowboy and action movies. The cartoons were so simple and fun. It seemed that good guy and bad guy action was pretty plain to all. Do you have any programs from when you are a that you remember and like? I do admit to currently watching the retro programs as they are shown on TV now . Maybe we were lucky to have "simple TV" as Do you have favorites from back then?

I really liked the old westerns and war movies.

I want to take you into the fiery lair of steamy sexual delight on this hot sultry night.

I think that the photo with Don Knotts in the middle is from later than 1961 as Brian Keith and his butler and kids are in the right half and I remember that show and I was only 2 in 61. I also do not think we had a TV in 61. I think the Keith show was after 65.

I was a big fan of any show that had horses in it. Roy Rodgers, Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid ...

Walt Disney on Sunday evenings was also a weekly family event.
