I think the 'sodden leaf carpet' phase starts for my area today.  But we had a glorious October, so can't really complain.Happy HNW!

That's a glorious view! The leaves are nice too. You wearing only a cuddly sweater on a cool, crisp autumn day brings a lot of naughty thoughts to my mind.

Autumn always seems to go by way too quickly, maybe because the dread of winter awaits. Very nice poem Ms Super, loved the view & the fall colours were also nice.

I noticed yesterday that the maple in my front yard was in full color, I went out this afternoon just at sundown as the best side faces west.. to take the picture. The tree had a mind of it's own and was only yellow at the top and almost baron below, Odd what a bit of rain and wind with cool weather can do in a day.. Now I have a yard full of leaves...
