A Living Doll A Poem
A Living Doll A Poem A Living Doll Written in 2015 She was a living doll At least that is what he thought He wanted to just hold her Not too tight for fear He would break her. But she was far from porcelain. She was made of skin and bones. She was fair like alabaster But she could tan if she wanted. She was a real live woman. With a heart and feelings. He knew this. It was why he thought her a doll In the first place. For his definition of doll was different. He wanted to play with her But keep her heart in tact. Not injure it. He wanted to preserve her very innocence. Her goodness and light He appreciated this like none other. The step he had to take The decision he had to make. Was not an easy one for him. He knew she was willing. He knew she had needs. But he knew if he made a move He would want love to ensue. For that is what this doll Who was a real live woman Evoked in him.
