...and in the great north... there exists this elusive creature.... the rare and incredible red beaver..... in order to blend in with the other beavers, she keeps hair short and perhaps uses something like nair down there... but all those that lay eyes on this wonderful red beaver are enthralled, for there is a certain quality to this beast that defies logic..... and sometimes, as in times like these, the red beaver becomes a reclusive impossible to catch a glimpse of mystery.... but rest assured.... there will be a day when the red beaver re-emerges.... and then.... be aware ... for she will be ravenous....

Me too, so proud and happy to be Canadian. First generation too. My grandfather moved to a small town in Manitoba from North Dakota in 1905 with his family when my dad was 10. How lucky am I?
