Are people really kinky?

Have you ever wondered when people write in their profile that they are kinky but don't state what they do that is kinky? Why not say what makes them kinky!! just an observation not that anyone cares.

 If I'm interested in someone I would just ask anyway because doing something and fantasizing about something can be miles apart. But I do agree, it would be very helpful if they were more specific.
