Mechanical genius? I am not.... It was pouring down rain as I was heading work today. The moment I turned on the wipers I could see something was terribly wrong. The driver's side wiper was beginning come apart. Fantastic Cursing the wipers and bitching up a storm, I decided I'd buy a wiper after work and see if I could put it on. Now, I've tried this process in the past. While I usually manage to get the wiper blade on there.... it's usually through the process of trial and error that I eventually find a way to get that fucking wiper installed the way it should be. You wouldn't think it would be that hard!! Yet, it is.... So, here I am today. Forty five minutes of dinking around in the parking lot later, I still do not have an installed wiper blade. Even better?? Now I have no wiper blade. Not only did I fling the new wiper blade across the parking lot in a fit of rage I also stomped on the old wiper blade because it was pissing me off too. A W E S O M E Needless to say, here I sit, regaining my composure, preparing myself for round two with the wiper blade from hell. Wish me luck. |

That is some funny shit, I think we can all relate. Plumbing generally gets me to toss a few wrenches around.

I walk into NAPA and say I need winter blades and Oh, could one of you please come out and out them on? And SMILE yep works every time

before trying to take on the task of changing something as simple as a windshield wiper  you should know i well kept secret...the parts that attach to the blade were designed by satin, and the part that attaches to the wiper arm is designed by a master puzzle maker.

You are correct, and the instructions are written where , you cant see it, cant understand it or heir illustrations don't look like what you have in your hand.. Buy from Auto zone , Oreilles or Minuet lub, they will put them on in a sec.. Sorry you had a meltdown.. it does happen and you are not the only one that this has happened to...

It's on.  The amazing thing about the all in one stores is that you can buy groceries and wiper blades all at the same time for convenience. So, I did not go to an auto parts store for my wiper.... Alas.

You’re a better person than me. I can’t even do that. I’d just roll up to the nearest Castrol and have them do whatever and I’d give them $5 or something if they don’t charge me. I just moved and the one car shop I found, they get so aggressive with demanding tips : I helped fix your car and no tip? I’m looking for a new car shop. I’d learn, but I’d probably break something that even the hulk couldn’t break.
