It was the day from hell....

I was yelled at by a former employee... Had a check thrown at me.... Had the shit scared out of me.... And came home a from a well meaning blog follower that kind of hurt my feelings.

i'm sorry.. THAT was a pretty SHITTY thing for someone to say outloud.

i have a text buddy in Sweden because of my odd hours... and i discuss anything. he laughs that i am weird. but he lets me keep talking on any topic. he talks about more than sex back.

i try not to talk about the sad things in life on my bookface. not that i want people to think i have a perfect life but it's just my happy escape page. HERE i talk about the truth... and i think you are possibly doing the same.

    XO!
My kids and coworkers are on my faceplace, so I only post things that are positive and memories I want to look back on and smile about. You are correct, I save the every day life stuff for here. Here I can gripe and get a second opinion and share the funny stuff I wouldn't necessarily share with my 72 year old coworker.

DO NOT LET ANYONE TAKE UR JOY AWAY. i was a manger in retail for over 6 years and if you only knew how many times i was called all names and cursed out for doing my job u wouldn't believe it. i refuse to let negativity rule my day. HUMAN BEINGS ARE HARD TO UNDERSTAND.
Thank you... And, you are right. Human beings are hard to understand. Working in retail is a beast, especially in positions like my own, because not only am I dealing with customers, I'm dealing with coworkers and employees too. Sometimes I find it's the employees that are the worst time sucking, self centered individuals. At least the customers go away at some point....

i hope your well meaning blog follower and you sort that out if that's what your want.

i had a blog reader misinterpret my hovering over their blog meant i perved the profile. i'm a standard member. i can't pull up profiles that aren't gold members messaging me. and that's a partial view. right now i can tell he has just logged into my profile several times... he let me know he wasn't looking right now. sigh.
I don't think he meant for his comment to be as negative sounding as it was.

In essence he told me he followed my blog because my shitty life made him feel good about his own.

After the day that I had experienced, which included a lot more than I wrote about, that comment had caused some tears.

I hate that saying.... It's just an open door to be abused by customers. They know that, in the end, they will always get their way if they act like a fucktard long enough. They are NOT always right.

I was feeling pretty terrible.... But, sometimes you need a reminder of what is actually most important in your life. The former employee who hates me and threw a check at me? Not important. The man I once carried inside my body for 9 months then cared for for the next 18 years, very important.

It was my day off today... But, a much better day. Spent some time at the gym, drank some wine, watched the Mentalist. My visit with my son really helped...

I absolutely do. I'm very seriously considering using one of my sick days on Monday for a mental health day.

Sometimes it's hard to step back when you're in the thick of it. On facebook I post a ton of stuff simply because I want it to show up as a memory, a constant reminder of something good that happened in my life. Makes me smile... On here, I vent, and sometimes post things to be able to revisit once an emotion has passed, and read the comments, and let go of the things that were bothering me. Not gonna lie, today was one of those days where I came home from work and really wondered to myself if my life was really worth it.

The hurricane is on land now, it can and will get better over the weekend, we just got a lot of rain for tomorrow, Check? Real money? Open you a cold one , kick back and take the evening off!!
My son came over... Out of the blue. We had dinner and just hung out and watched TV. Sometimes, it just takes a little time with someone who cares about you to turn things around.

It's the thick skin part that I have to work on. One of my shortfalls is that I tend to internalize things when I'm having a bad day.

Big hugs. Sorry to hear your day went south. I had that happen recently and thankfully a good friend kept me company so my mood improved.
Hope tomorrow brings a brighter outlook.

Today was a bad one.... One of those days where I feel a little trapped, feel a little alone in the world.
