I find these bondage pictures strangely fascinating. the control and the restrictions of movement, the sometimes painful positions and gags that prevent any meaningful word.

It would be interested to find out how long it usually takes to tie up the ropes and how long the sub is staying tied up.

Yes, this is a very good point and I agree this makes me feel always a little bit uneasy when discussing bondage and D/s.
Without proper consent and sticking to a safe word (or a safe wink), where does sexual play end and abuse and starts? Is humiliation and pain acceptable when it is agreed in advance?
The master not only need to control the sub, he (or she) needs to control himself as well and be careful not to overstep the agreed boundaries.
