The owners, that is. Why I have no idea? Maybe it's that we have a few open units? Or that said units have all needed major work done to get them ready to re rent? Or the fact that none of them are renting, then again it could be the fact that we have a lot of units that will be coming open at the end of this month. It's the first of the year slump, it happens every year around here, though I've never seen it this bad before. Blame the Virus for that I suppose? Open units not renting, people just don't like changing addresses during the deep winter months if they don't have too. Most of the departures probably didn't like the fact that they had to move, then again most of them were asked to move for various reasons. Of the past six move outs, I don't think any of them were because their lease was up and they found a better place for themselves that they want to live at, ditto for the batch coming up at the end of this month.

You'd think the one owner who has been in the business longer then the other partner would realize the fact. No, they don't. So the fact that places aren't renting must be the fault of us lowly peons who work here. Not doing our jobs properly, yeah no. All of the owners nit picking won't change the fact, nor will all of the penny pinching they have been doing. Even the PM has complained about the latter to me. I shrug it off. I'm used to the slumps by now. Knowing that things will turn around once the weather starts warming up. At least I hope it does? The past year has be a hard one for a lot of people. Tough for them to make ends meet, the recent help by the Gov. wouldn't even cover the cost of one months rent on a small two bedroom unit, let alone a large two bedroom or three bedroom place around here. Nor pay any other bills ( gas, elect., medical, or food ) someone might of had to put off because of the troubles.

Well, you can't get blood from a stone, or so they say. Being angry about it won't help either. Everyone is hurting, we are in fact in this boat together, think it's about time we all start pulling the oars in the same direction. If we don't we'll just continue to go around in circles.

Off to shower now....
