I'm glad to hear you are back and reboot. Over the past year I have been more aware of what is going on around. However, I grew up and went to school in diverse communities. Yes, I am a white male. I cannot control that. However, what I can control is myself and my actions. And those actions are the same that I have had ever since I can remember. Always treat people with respect. Yes, you cannot please everyone. We will come through this together. Be well, be safe, be healthy, and be mentally healthy. And always try to help or assist someone everyone day.

I unplugged from almost all MSM news early in 2021, and I'm very limiting and selective of what I do pay attention to. We cannot change what is happening at this time. What's happening is happening no matter what I do. I work, work out daily, on a low carb diet, get 7 hours of sleep daily, and do things outdoors whenever possible like riding my bike and dog park visits when weather permits. It's helped me greatly physically and mental health wise. We both seem to be in similar reboots. Many friends i know are doing the same.

The fact that you even question yourself is a good thing. It shows self introspection and a willingness that most true racists do not exhibit. Its been on everyone this past year so things that normally wouldn't be acknowledged on a public stage are being expressed loudly. Hi Only_one, I read your posts periodically and find them amusing, interesting, and entertaining. But I'm particularly struck by THIS one. The seriousness of your introspection got my attention. As a black man who leads workshops on racism - where people of all colors, ethnicities, and gender have a safe space to engage in the conversation, I'm always looking for people who are seriously engaging in the inquiry regarding race. . Although we don't presume to have the "answers" to racism in America, I think we can provide some insights into the dilemma you alluded to in your post. There is so much going on in the world today and it's getting crazier with each passing day. I understand how you feel completely. We just have to keep safe and say prayers and hope that things get better soon. I hope you enjoy your day.  Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

All of your fears and anxiety about what you have seen is so common among so many people. You are far from alone. What we have lived through as a country over the past year is unprecedented. Nation wide riots don't happen here in America! That happens other countries but not here!! That is for uncivilized countries that are riddled with corruption and its people who can't see through the government propaganda and lies. Right?? It's shocking to us as a country and as a shift in our culture. We feel un-stabilized from the country we were. So it's not just you who is shocked by what you have seen...
