well, its happened. hatched my 3 chicks early this am. Overjoyed as expected, Been spending the day drying out and fumigating my scrotum, ready for another batch incubate. Ill let my scrotum heal a little from what is a traumatic event. Strongly thinking of attaching a plastic zip so i dont have suture the open wound everytime i place a new batch of eggs in me bed down.

Im in contact with the nice doctors at the nuffield hospital to see if i can have the op for the zip as the sewing is a bit of a hassle. I didnt have any issues with the chicks pecking either at the sutured wound or into my main cavity. I think i timed it just right between the darlings hatching and releasing them no more then hrs later.

The nerve endings have started heal, allowing feel both the pressure my scrotum from the 3 eggs nestled inside but also the little guys hatching, a most unusual feeling of soft feathers inside my ball sac. Quite nice.spermhound.

I have been in touch with the LZS(london zoological society) to see about incubating rare birds eggs or my favourite, turtle eggs, in the near future. Ill keep u all informed to events as they are about to happen.

the 3 fertile hens eggs have been incubating in my scrotum now for a week, The previous blog was bringing u upto speed.

The removal of my testicles was very painful indeed despite the painkilling injections into my abdoman. I still have then in a jar of themaldahyde so their safe.

I am fully qualified biological scientist, so am fully aware of the advantages and disadvatages of the procedue to remove my balls from their scrotum, i feel its all been worth while now Im incubating the 3 eggs. I think they will hatch anyday now.

Its been difficult to move about and sit and lie down with the eggs nestled in my scrotum. Having to be careful not to close my legs and having to cradle the scrotum on sitting down so i dont end up sitting on the little beauties.

What the forum didnt discuss (theres lots) is the weight of a hens egg is twice that of a testicle and to have 3 of them has weighed down my sac even more then the suggested doubling of the scrotum to accommadate the eggs. This may be good for incubating more exotic bird eggs in the future, but its was quite alarming when they started stretching half way down my thighs.

With the warm weather here of the island this spring i have been able to wear one of my favourite garments, one of my fiji island surongs, so my scrotum isnt been squeezed by a pair of trousers. Nice to let my sac have all the freedom it needs with no confinements.

I think the suggestion of the chicks when newly hatched. will peck at the wound and try to pull at the stitches is a fallacy. As soon as i hear the sweet tweeting of my hatchlings, ill undo the suture and let them out. All for now. Ill keep u all posted
